The California PERB Blog is authored by Tim Yeung, a founding partner of Sloan Sakai Yeung & Wong LLP (formerly Renne Sloan Holtzman Sakai LLP).  Mr. Yeung represents public and private sector employers in all areas of labor and employment law throughout California.

In 2004, Mr. Yeung was appointed by the Governor as a Legal Adviser to the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) where he advised the Board in over 100 precedential decisions.  Mr. Yeung is one of only a handful of California attorneys to have litigated cases before PERB under multiple labor statutes, including the Dills Act (state employees), MMBA (city, county and other local employees), and HEERA (higher education employees).  Mr. Yeung created the California PERB Blog, the first California legal blog focused on public sector labor relations, in February 2007 to share his experience and knowledge of PERB matters with fellow practitioners and the general public.
